I am a new artist, passionate about watercolor and ink.  In early March, 2025, I realized that a spoonful of passion, a thimble full of know-how and a great love of painting would be enough to start making greeting cards. I've been busy ever since-- half creating an inventory, half putting my art out there! I'm really enjoying myself, too.
I took up watercolor painting in 2023 when I retired from my full-time job as a minister. I now paint (or sketch) every day (hardly missing a beat)! Creating art is my passion. Since my hallway walls are filled with my paintings, I need to scale down in size, and share some of my art with the world. That was the birth of Great Cards Delivered-- from me to you!
I prefer to sell hand-painted blank cards. Each one is a unique creation from my studio, bearing my authentic Chinese ink stamp. I had it custom-made during my trip to Shanghai, China in 2014. Little did I know ten years ago that I would be creating Asian sumi-e art in my own home.
I discovered Sumi-e art around my birthday in March 2025, just weeks before creating an online presence. I fell in love with this graceful, simple, meditative art form. It is a good match for my artistic personality.
